Essel Francis Etetere designed the identity for Tisoma, a Mediterranean fusion café based in Paros, Greece. Drawing inspiration from the playful spirit of coastal living, the warmth of the Aegean sun, and the unhurried rhythm of Greek simplicity, Tisoma reimagines Mediterranean dining for a modern, global audience

At its heart, Tisoma embodies a lifestyle defined by brightness and connection. “The task was to create a lifestyle-driven café experience that positions Tisoma as a global symbol of contemporary Mediterranean culture—bright, bold, and effortlessly social,” says Francis. Guided by the brand’s core narrative, Taste the Sun, he explains that the goal was to “translate the feeling of the Aegean into a brand system, something that carries the soul of Paros while feeling at home anywhere in the world.”

Rooted in the vibrancy of Greece, Tisoma’s brand identity captures the warmth of the Aegean through a bold and contemporary design language. The logotype’s angular rhythm draws inspiration from handcrafted Greek signage, while the radiant sun symbol embodies the brand’s core philosophy—Taste the Sun. A vivid palette of Aegean blue and sun yellow evokes optimism, freshness, and coastal authenticity. “We wanted Tisoma to feel both grounded in its origins and open to the world,” Francis explains. The result is a brand that transcends its physical space, more than a café, Tisoma stands as a lifestyle expression, a celebration of Mediterranean fusion wherever the sea meets the sun.
